Finally finished

We have finally finished our coop and run. The chicks seem to be comfortable in their new home! All we have left to do is hang the food and water.

So.........how many eggs does the big chicken in the last picture lay???

Seriously, tho, it looks good. My only critique would be the size of the gaps in the wire. If you have raccoons etc. they will easily get your birds through the wire, perhaps add 1/2 inch hardware wire to the bottom 24 inches?

Hahahahaha! My 7 year old son LOVES the chickens! He is the only one that can stand up in the run - and he could stay there all day.
We have some quarter inch wire that we are planning to put around the bottom on top of the fence. That will be for another weekend. We are locking them up in their coop from dusk to dawn right now.
