Finally got a coop for my flock!

Now to build in the chicken run! Took a few hours to dig into the ground to make it level and then a day to cut the pieces and put the frame together. We used wood from an old run and new pieces to replace what couldn’t be salvaged.

My partner is very proud of his work, it was his first time building a structure like this and he basically did it all by himself (I helped hold the wood a few times for sawing and drilling lol)
I’m very proud of him too! It’s amazing what people with woodworking skills can do im honestly envious. I made sure to cook him up some lobster tail and crab legs as a special dinner for all his hard work

That’s a gorgeous coop! And that color is fabulous. Definitely update us on how the baby shower goes with a pic of that first egg. Cute idea!
