Finally got my green egg!

Finally! My OE ended up laying brown, and my EE laying white, so I was pretty heartbroken about my coloured egg basket goal this season...but my Isbar x Swedish Flower lays pretty little green eggs! So happy with her!

That one is from Goose, my LF cochin girl! Her eggs fluctuate between a wonderful mauvey beige and that pinky lavender. I had to catch her on camera to be sure

Somehow it seemed heck of a lot less impressive without the green, even though I usually get a fairly dark brown from my OE and a tiny pretty girly pink from one of my silkie x hamburgs added to that bunch. So much happier with my cartons than I was at this time last year, with all my generic production reds basic brown eggs!
