One of two partridge Rock hens. I love these chickens!

Buff Rock hens, I have three total.

One of two dominiques. I have had them and a BR for almost three years now. This is "Littlest Chicken"

And this is their nanny, Orion, who licks them and cuddles them when they are babies, whether they like it or not. (and cries if they have to "leave")

Do you know if the Partridge Rock breed has been obtained by something like a cross between Barred Rocks and Welsummers?
