FINALLY - MY FIRST EGG!!!!!!!! PICS ADDED!

And it's BLUE!!!! One of my two EE hens finally decided to start laying and layed a lovely light blue egg! And it's BIG for a pullet...almost the same size as a large egg from the store...maybe it was worth the wait. I can't wait to try and hatch some of them to see what I get! YEA!!!!!

Got my first egg yesterday, got another today. Both little brown eggs from my Black star... can't wait 'til my two EE's start laying.

They are 20 weeks old yesterday so I guess I've got time.

Hey I got my first egg today too! Congrats to everyone!

Little Willow layed her first egg, but she wants nothing to do with it now. I put it back in the nest in the hopes that her mother instinct will kick in. Here's Willow and her egg:

Whoo Hoo! Congrats! We had our first egg last week. We are finally up to our first dozen - in fact today was our second two egg day. Tomorrow, we will be using our first dozen eggs from the Delightful Dozen to provide dinner. We will have Breakfast for Dinner using our own eggs! French Toast, bacon and baked apples.
