Welcome to BYC! Good luck with your flock. I totally can understand about culling the cockerels, because most of the time you can't even give those away for free!

I re-homed this rooster to a friend whose free range flock was having large furry predator problems and whose hens were constantly fighting after their 12 year old rooster died. She said she hasn't had a fight or a coyote since so he must be working out.
