One of my guineas finally laid an egg!!!!!
I've been waiting and waiting and waiting. People who live in Ohio and PA have gotten guinea eggs. I live in NM, it's been hot, no eggs!
This morning 1 egg!!!!
I've got 2 guinea hens and 1 roo. I want more.
Now hopefully Romeo is doing his job and I'll have fertile eggs to hatch out.
I left the 1 egg alone for now, I don't want them to switch places. Tomorrow I'll take one out to see if there's a bullseye!
If there is I'm going to start collecting them for my incubator!!!! Or should I wait and see if one of the hens wants to go broody? We have had a broody epidemic here, 7 broody hens and 2 broody ducks!!! Ohhhh, I'm soooo excited!!! Can ya tell ?
I wonder which one is laying. One hen (Juliet) and Romeo (the male) are Pearls and my other hen (Cleopatra) is a Slate.
