After years of dealing with a sleep disorder, I finally slept all through the night last night. I did so without bizarre dreams, tossing and turning, and woke up feeling awake!
I have what my doctor calls a primary sleep disorder. My brain doesn't turn off at night. In other words, on an EEG my sleep brain waves look identical to my awake brain waves.
My doctor has tried just about every medication out there. They either didn't work, had really bad side effects or caused me to do things in my sleep; like make a bunch of long distance phone calls. I started a new med last night.
Nothing is amiss in my kitchen this morning. I checked the last number dialed on the phone to make sure I hadn't made any phone calls and my car hasn't been moved.
Maybe I can actually make it through the day without feeling like I've been run over by a mack truck!
