I need some help to! I have a hav-a-heart trap...and it doesn't work very well. Any one know a trap that will work well? or make one?

I have a 1089 havahart.Caught over 40+ with it.What are your issues? I had trouble with the plate not engaging the door.Bent stuff around.Lubed it up.Good to go now.Little beat from coons and rusty,but still works. Got the same trap for my mom.She had issue too.Messed with it and caught her groundhogs. Don't give up on the cage just yet!

I just looked in home depot and see they now have a 1079 instead of the 1089 I bought.
