I would only partially open the top of a tuna can cut the lid half way and place it in the trap seems to work better for me anyway. As for those raccoons I hope they BBQ'd up nicely.

My grandfather told me tree squirrels are pretty good eatin' but stay away from those ground squirrels!

Squirrels are excellent eating. Serve them fried with a side of gravy and you have yourself some good eating. Also possum is really greasy wouldnt recommend it to anyone lol.

I'm good at trapping squirrels...What's good bait for raccoons and CATS??? Cat food? Tuna? I have a cat problem amongst other night predators.

The best way to reduce feral cat population is to trap, neuter and return -- an established colony will keep others out, and since they're all fixed, the colony size would decrease over time. With an alternate source of food and water, they would be less likely to go after the chickens. If you just remove them, it will create a vacuum that will draw more into the area from surrounding territory.

KFC original recipe has a good reputation for getting kitties into the traps.
