I just like to yap about whatever ailment I’m tending because someone always seems to have something wrongAlright I took her in to actually look at her foot with my eyes and not from a zoomed in photo and what I thought was a lesion was just dead scales. I’m thinking this is just a tendon injury nothing crazy like MS or arthritis specifically because I have seen her take some pretty hard landings flying down from the higher roosts in my new coop. I should probably make some accommodations for her with that. Guess she’ll be getting some baby aspirin in bed tonight lol. View attachment 4028680View attachment 4028681
Wow....Today was ... I'm not gonna say it, I might get banned. It was special, let's say.
There wasn't a whole lot for me to do at work today, so I rewired part of the building to make it suitable for the engraving business that's gonna be renting the space soon. I got off a couple hours early, but my grandma called and needed me to come look at her water pump and see what was wrong with it. So I went up there, and as soon as I stuck my head in the pumphouse, the filler tube popped off and landed in the bottom of the spring, throwing water all over me as it did so, and the foot valve flew up off it and hit me in the nose. I had to go buy a can of glue because I didn't bring my tools because I didn't know I was gonna be doing plumbing today. Anyway, turns out the impeller is locked up and can't be fixed, so tomorrow I have to replace the pump. Oh, did I mention when I glued the filler tube back in, the (thankfully closed) glue can decided to spontaneously fall over and roll into the spring, making me reach into the water and fish around for it?
So yeah today went.... Well...
It's nice of you to fix it for her thoughYeah![]()
