Exactly, I worked at a farmers market/fair and I ran the cash register, bagged peanuts, stalked produce back up, refilled the fridge etc.. while the other girls huddled in the back area till the boss showed up.

Yeah it was so annoying lol, They would always be doing something when she showed up. One thing that made it worth it is that my boss recognized me actually working and integrity and she thanked me for not being like the other girls

Thats a good way to put it, I remember working at a horse farm with a bunch of teenage girls... lets just say they were on their phones while I did all of the work lol.
Yeah I bet it isnt.
That would be a good idea, since I'm assuming you cant be short handed while you wait.

It's so ridiculous with teen girls. Every one of them that ride even the ones that show are always riding with their phones in their hands.
When the boss gives lessons he makes them leave their phone on the table.

Well at a grocery store near us its hiding in a cart on your phone instead of bringing it back to the store

That's a shame. I remember this one guy kept getting yelled at by the boss cause he kept riding the carts down the hill at least he was having fun

I know! Like a girl at a english stable was on her phone leading her horse into the arena the horse spooked and took of and then I was riding a thoroughbred and almost got bucked off from her carelessness. her poor horse wouldnt calm down after that

Like, if you're just going to be on your phone the whole time, then stop taking lessons so that there is room for people who actually want to work on improving their riding skills!
