finding article & ? re: photos

I spent about 2 hours writing an article last night. I put up pictures - most of which have already been posted already on these forums, but I couldn't access from the article like I do from a normal post/thread. So I re-loaded them.

Because I was in/out while doing other household things, I hit "save as a draft". Later, when I had pretty much finished writing it, I hit "publish now"... and it disappeared completely.

Any ideas how I can get it back? Or is it truly gone?

It was in the Members Area, titled "My NC coops"

I was planning on attaching it to the "My Coop" feature in the Signature Block.

Photos - I have loaded a LOT of photos over the years. They appear to all be accessible from a normal thread/post.

How can I combine them into a gallery(s) that can more easily be accessed for attachments to threads or to point some one towards in a specific thread (gallery titles - breeds, cattle panel hoop coops, re-use/re-cycle, DLM in NC, etc)? Or is that not possible?

Hi there!

Have you double checked your drafts to make sure that it isn't still in draft mode?

For the future upload pictures to an album first before you insert them into a post, that way they all stay in an album where you can find them all in the same place. There is no easy way to pull past posted pictures from posts and put them in an album unless you find each post/photo and save them to your device first... Then upload to an album.

Does this make sense? If not I will try to say it in a different way.

No I hadn't. THANK YOU. That is probably what I needed and was looking for. I seem to have "old people" lack of techie knowledge and hadn't been able to pull that up in a search... (I can still sit next to my family members and google the exact same things and come up with completely different articles, links and pictures - most not family friendly and not at all what I want to peruse... I get so frustrated at times! My family thinks it's hilarious - because it's always my devices that pull up the "dirtiest" <not real chicken, garden, permaculture or pony related> stuff. I have to say - I've gotten better about clearing my history and my cache!!)

I'm not going to be able to read thru that tonight, but I will soon.

Are you on a phone?
If so click on the little avatar with the little stick man thing at the top of this screen. It opens up this:

From there click on "your articles" then scroll down and look for a box that says "draft articles."
