Finding Our Coop Through The Snow-Update w/pics of Chickens Out There

Oh my!

Must keep you really busy! When I lived where we had lots of snow, I didn't have chickens. Sounds like you're doing a great job to keep the girls happy and healthy.

Here we are in Massachusetts after our snow last night. The 'tunnel' path is to our chicken run. We keep the yard covered with two clear plastic corrugated panels, that tie on through the top to a cleat on the inside of the frame of the chicken yard. We shovelled it off so light will come in. We shovel out the yard, it's very small and gives the girls room to roam about without the snow.

They have all been laying now for about 2 wks, 4 eggs a day! Love that!
