Finding The Nest Box

DOES ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION FOR ME HOW TO GET MY HENS TO LAY IN THE NESTING BOXES. I HAVE PINE SHAVINGS IN THE BOXES AND STRAW IN MY CHICKEN RUN, ONE IS USING THE BOX BUT ONE OF THE OTHERS KEEP USING THE RUN. HELP!!!!!

Try putting ceramic eggs or golf balls in the nest. Make sure the hen sees the fake "eggs" in the nest. Leave them in there 24-7. Eventually, she'll make the connection.

try putting a little straw on the pine shavings?

The fake eggs will help, golf balls, or what I use is just roundish river rock. They spy something in the nest and think "Oh, someone else thinks this is a good spot, I'll lay here too."
