Wait . . . you're moving to Texas? Well, that's certainly a welcome addition to our state. I'm about an hour outside of Houston, which is a perfect place to be when it comes to buying chickens, IMO. Our city is where all the Ideal Poultry chicks are dropped off before being shipped to the rest of the United States, plus Houston seems to house a ton of wonderful breeders.

YUP!!! We will be living somewhere outside San Antonio, though. It is going to be about a year from now (when my hubby returns from Turkey)UNLESS I manage to sell my house and find a house there that is perfect this Summer (HIGHLY unlikely). I would love to, but the thought of doing it all alone with only three children to help makes me want to crawl in a hole!!! LOL I am looking forward to becoming a Texan.

It should be our last move before hubby retires from the Air Force, so we plan to stay forever.
