Fingers crossed hoping for a female

I've got my fingers cross that this embedded goose is a goose and not a gander. She/he is 11 months old. What do you guys think.

Any eggs yet? She’s old enough to be laying and it’s the time of year. How long have you had her? Voice my Embden gander has a high pitched honk my female has low pitched mumble. Guess no eggs since your asking about sex. Any nest making signs?

I've had her since Gosling, vent sexed when I got her, saw no penis. But I know they can hold it in. I have a dog house out for her she never uses. No eggs and no signs of nest making. But it's just her no other geese. I had a Chinese brown but he got killed. I new he was a male because we vent sexed him as a Gosling.

I'm leaning towards a female, but more pictures would help. Are you getting him/her another goose soon? Geese don't do well alone.

I have her in a run with a dog house and she just sleeps out on the ground . I never see her in the dog house. Would straw work as nesting materials?
