I'm leaning towards a female, but more pictures would help. Are you getting him/her another goose soon? Geese don't do well alone.

Yes I put out several ads looking for adult geese locally. And have been searching around.

This is also why I want to find out the sex for sure is because I'd like to find a mate? And I need to know if I need a male or a female. The honk is in the lower range I believe.

No it's not covered, it's just a dog house in the middle of a field with 500ft of premier one netting around it that's electrified. And then theres a mobile chicken coop and a kiddy pool out there for the goose. I put a extension on the roof of the dog house for shade and I see her sitting underneath it sometimes, when it rains and such. But never see her go in it.... theres shade under the mobile coop as well.

As @Miss Lydia mentioned, "Most" Female geese have a lower pitched voice while males sound like nails on a chalkboard.

. Male Chinese are very loud and high pitch too, whilst the females go "Oink Oink". That's about how my Brown Chinese/African sound like. Never would have thought a goose would make pig noises.

That’s hilarious! I’ve never been around Chinese geese other than at a Marina many years ago and If they made noise I don’t remember.

I'm really sure that she is female. The voice is lower. So the only adult male around me for sale is a brown African... would that be ok to breed with?

Yes, that would be fine. I would love to see the offspring results of those.
