during your child's naptime instead of completing any chores you casually make your way out to the coop "to check on things" and don't come back until his monitor lights up.

you puruse hatchery catalogs as if they were from the finest boutiques.

you go shopping and your husband wants to makes sure it's anywhere but the feed store.

you go to work with feathers on your clothes and don't notice until a coworker says something.
