Maybe not white-water rafting! The kayak down the waterfall was pretty hilarious though. Soundtrack is good.

I know right?! The motorcycle had me
cracking up the voice over with the hen hahahaha - very clever!

@SimpleJenn makes a great point. With Mama he'll learn it's easier with a willing hen: less struggle, less running, everybody's happier and maybe he can "get it on" more often. With Calypso he'll learn an unwilling, mad hen is dangerous! Hopefully he'll figure out the art of invitation.
Mood music piped into the Palace - good idea!

This is how a Coopers Hawk can hunt. They will walk into a chicken run to kill.

I saw one doing that in a pile of broken branches at the feed store last winter. It was easily going through the branches after sparrows.

This is hilarious!

I am having chicken envy!
OMG! She doesn't have any way to say "NO" !!! Why are chickens so exploited?! It's amazing she hasn't dropped dead from a heart attack. Some other military(?) guy parachuted w/ his chicken too. Forgive me... I must be soft-hearted/headed to see chickens/animals put in stunts?

Sparrows are a very common Cooper's hawk prey around here. We see Cooper's on the street tearing apart a sparrow, or flying thru tree branches grabbing a sparrow in it's talons, or sitting on a rooftop surveying for an easy meal. I've seen a hawk sit on a fence watching a Mourning Dove who took off flying into a neighbor's banana tree & the hawk flew after it but would not go into the banana leaves after it:idunno.

Yet I've seen a Cooper's fly under our Pomegranate tree about 3 feet from where I was standing to snatch a sparrow in the lower branches & while the hawk is still flying got its sparrow & he flew off w/ his meal. My Dominique hen froze leaning against my leg watching the hawk w/me while all our Silkies had disappeared like lightning. Those little fluffy Silkies are FAST & quiet little buggers & I have no idea all the hiding places they found so quick!

Sparrows are over-populated in our city, almost like a plague, & the Cooper's seem to find them easy to hunt, catch, & carry away.
