dont plamn to incorporate nests till about the 4 or 5 months mark. or should i do that ealier? 5 silkies 2 porclain du'cuccles and 1 light brahma.

Well, you can still build the roosts in a place to accommodate the nests.
Or you can build the nests now and maybe cover the entrances until they are closer to laying age. Good to have the nests pone before they start laying, so you can train them not to sleep in them.

Okay so only roost so far is 10 inches off ground. and the plan is to make quiet a few. Sorry i aint got pics up. phone plan lapsed due to in life issues. But i will one day get their little home posted. they finnaly destroyed all the grass in their little run i have for them. but they seem happy and healthy. silkies are all almost old enough to show their combs differences. got like 1 left to tell which ones are male or female. lol. My porclains still have pink not red combs which im pleased about. and they love when my co workers have left over vegetables.
