It's that time again.
My dogs have already started pacing back n forth.
They neighborhood is booming with the fireworks.

Do you do anything to "help" your chickens cope throw the blasts?

It's not so easy for my chicks, they, are 7 and 9 weeks old, And my big, proud head of the flock was lying on the floor of the coop with her head stuffed between the ameracauna cockrels. They and my other suspected cockrel were standing up, but with a scared loom in there eyes and Emily (who we haven't given a cockrel name yet) couldn't stop crowing. My only idea that actually isn't mine, one of the kids had it, has been to somehow stick a blanket over the wire in the coop. They could still hear, but they can't see. Would that work? It really doesn't help that our neighbors have professional fireworks. (Seriously, if they could cram it into a 10 minute show and advertise it, they would attract the whole neighborhood)
