I bet all sleep with head under wing under typical conditions. Mine do and they represent more than one breed.only my buff orpingtons and silver laced wyandottes have ever slept with their head under their wing, and I think it's the noise. they always flinch at the firecrackers, but I had some silent ones that just emitted sparks, and they just watched them, not flinching at all.
