First Attempt at Goat Cheese (PIX)

I found this recipe for a Goat Cheese Torte.
It has a layer of Basil Pesto and a layer of Sun Dried Tomatoes.
I decorated it with three types of Basil and Garlic Chive flowers.

Here is a slice on a toasted piece of French Bread.

And just like Lydia Bastianich, "Let me taste it for you."
It turned out really nice, not at all "goatie" tasting!

I've been making goat cheese for about 2 years now... chevre, yogurt, cottage cheese, mozzerella, farmhouse cheddar, dubliner cheddar, accidental cheddar, butter...

can I just say YUM!!!

I just got my first goats in June. They are still a bit too young to breed.
