Here goes... my first attempt at a chicken saddle. I've got one silkie with a totally naked back and "shoulders," and I'm hoping this will help her out!
Top view. I added some "flutter sleeves" to help shield the shoulder area.
Underside. Could've been reversible without the sleeves...
Elastic straps are fed through a cased opening at the top, hopefully will give me a little more wiggle room when I put it on my girl.

Isn't perfect, but should get the job done. And I think it's cute. Anyone else here ever made their own chicken saddle, sweater, etc?? I'd love to see pics!
