Well if they are pure Cochin they would all have feathered feet..wouldn't they??? lol.

Yes, if they are pure, but didn't you say that the hens were cochins, and the roo Partridge? lol..my brain does forget.. Even if you mix the two, you will have some feathered feet..would me my guess..

I think I'm on day 11 for one of my batches too..lol..have a few in..
I just went into lock down with some pure lavender Ameraucanas. 9 out of 12..not too bad, now if they will all hatch!

I candled my eggs yesterday and found that 8 out of the 23 didn't make it. It's pretty amazing to see the differences between one that is growing strong and one that isn't at all. Just about another week and they'll be ready for lockdown.
