Nooo! Don't you dare! lol...you can wait...just think of it this way, you've waited 22 days, only one or two more, they will get here. Just have fun in the moment...ssss.. of waiting. They can be pipped for a long time, then all of a sudden get going. Do you have a flashlight to flash on them? Sometimes that wakes them up. Bad me. I have done this. And, then there will there will be the one that you didn't even know had pipped, and all of a sudden it is zipping! Good luck! They will get here!Aw they are sooo cute!
My eggs are on day 19, will be day 20 tomorrow afternoon, and I have one definite pip, and I think I have another (the one I mentioned previously, wasn't sure it was a pip, but now that I see another I'm pretty sure it is). The one (if it is) has been pipped for 24 hours and the newest for about 3..ugh I just want them to come out. I also am desperately fighting the urge to open the bator and help them, I just want them out!
lol..I'm not sure I've heard of that kind of helping,,but you got the beaks out, that's good..not opening the bator..that's good too.Okay so now I have 3 pips (still unsure about a 4th) and I did help them.... BUT it isn't what you think lol. I stuck a piece of wire in the vent hole and with my super skills managed to rip the pieces of shell off, so now one has a beak showing and a good sized hole, the second has pieces of shell that I ripped off, and a good sized tear in the membrane so it can breathe , and the third I can't get the wire under to pull it off. So, all is well and they can breathe and I helped without opening the bator!![]()

I just couldn't resist helping, considering it has been about 20 hours with no change, so now I have the peace of mind knowing those ones can breathe, and now the rest is up to them!![]()

Yes, the babies are soaking up the blood, very important! It was actually really hard to maneuver a piece of wire but once I got it where I wanted it, it worked really well![]()
I shined the flashlight and I could see into the hole and the veins have to dry some yet.
