First Born Son **will trade for Marans eggs** BC's only please

Oh - I WANT him! How amazingly adorable!

I have six children and only one boy - my son would give up any chicken on our place [or all of them!] for a little brother, but unfortunately, we have no black copper marans. I have some nice cuckoo marans though.... sure you wouldn't consider those?!

Anyway, all joking aside, that is one cute as a button little man you have there!

I always did want another son... LOL!

Someone give this woman some eggs. I would if I had your variety. Just Cuckoos here and not just the Marans!

Trade you for TWO 17 yo daughters. They also come with drivers license' they won't use and attitudes. Plus, I'll throw in the mood swings for free!

Yours can play guitar with my DH. Does he play rock band?

I throw in my 4 step DD's they 19,18,15,11.Some with license one pregnant, wont work and bad attitude.

Ok, I give up. I think Connie has won this game fair and square

I guess I'll keep him. He can be very sweet in between his tantrums and is so beautiful...when he's sleeping

Im two months prego and I don't know what I'd do if I get another boy. He is a lot of fun but my hands are full all day starting at 6 am when he gets up til 9m when we finally get him to bed. I do get an hour nap around noon. But hey, at least he's not a teenager

That's a whole new world of pain in the @$$ I know nothing about yet.

Allaboutdemchicks, Im so glad your rosecomb eggs look good. I've been checking my mille cochins practically every hour

and I don't see anything yet. Im only on day four so I know I still have more time. Im hoping they didn't get suctioned on the plane

Msbear-this has got to have been one of the cutest and funniest posts ever. So here's a thought..best to think of investments for the long haul right? BCMarans eggs, while amazing, should be decreasing in value in a few months whereas your son....he's priceless!! He is such a cutie and a keeper for sure. Congrats on the new little bean!

SO sorry for jumping on your thread!

I offer a boy-free afternoon full of mom-time to make up for it!

Yes, Connie wins.

Man I'd trade all of my chickens for him - what a sweetie!! That's the reason I got into chickens - my 2 boys are teenagers now and don't need me..

Or so they think.

How many eggs do you want for him? I'll glady trade. He's a real cutie pie.

Seriously, I have BC Marans eggs and I can put you on the list - right at the top of list I haven't even started yet even though I'm swamped with appeals to do so - so let's keep this just between us.....sssshhhhhhhhhhh. Don't tell anyone.

Now, I'll wonder how he'll like growing up on the farm and doing farm chores? He's probably young enough that he'll forget all about you in time and think we are his real parents. I wonder if someday I'll catch him sitting on his bed, like I did my daughter when she was about four, saying "someday I'm going to find my real parents. My real parents are nice, not mean."

hahahahaha Ruth, that is funny. I don't do LF's so I'll pass on the eggs but Im sure 5 people will gladly jump in the spot. If I was into the big birds, I would def want a few of those beautiful egg layers.

Minifarm, I see you're in Hagerstown. That's pretty close. We're trying to organize a chickenstock at the Tractor Supply in Martinsburg in the Spring...make sure you watch for it. You will get to meet the boy legend himself

Oh btw, I had lots of help with making this little cutie pie. My hubby is Korean and there is just this amazing thing that happened when you cross and average white person like myself

with a guy of Asian heritage. My dad calls it "hybrid vigor"
