first chicken egg!

I'm pretty sure its from the salmon faverolle, I think the BO is to young still.
Nice hard shell, but small.

She has a nice basket with pine shavings in it, but dug a hole in the coop and laid it in there

I just had my other hen start laying an eggs over the weekend. It was fun to open the coop up and find the surprise of a second egg.

I know its a thrill going to the duck house every morning and finding the egg she leaves me. Theres been 1 day she hasn't laid so far...hopefully the chickie will do the same.​
