First chicken ever

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum. I have always wanted to raise chickens and was holding off until i built a nice chicken coop. However, this morning my neighbor knocked on my door with a chicken in his hand and said a cat chased it to his front door. I built a little poultry net for it.

Could anyone identify if it is male or female?
What type of chicken is it?
Is it even a chicken?

I think girl but it’s hard to tell from so far away also depends on the breed

It looks like an Easter Egger from a distance. What color are her legs?? In order for her to thrive, she needs at least 2+ friends.
Do know where she might have come from???

The chicken has yellow legswith different shades of cream. I have no idea where it came from.
