First Chicken to Hatch on Christmas---PICS

OH....heres the pix.....and I was looking on the other post for them!!!! They are so sweet.

And I think the straw is kinda a neat idea... I would think it would keep the hatched babies from bowling with the remaining eggs as easy.

I have some due today myself but all I hear is peeping. Not even a pip as of yet. I have staggered hatches so I hope they make it. Since I only have 1 bator I add every 7 days as every 7 days I have a hatch so they make room for the others. I had 100% hatch the first time now I hope for one. I only hear what sounds like 1 peeping out of 15 eggs. I have more due on New Years Day.

The First to hatch this morning at 12:20 went over to help the chick hatching, jumped up on the ledge where the eggs sit, and fell down the side to the bottom where the water dish is.
I had to do a quick open of the bator and save her!!!

Does anyone have a good name for my Black and White, fleather footed Christmas Day treat?

Jrsqlc Oh they are so cute! What a great idea about the straw. It would keep the bowling down.

GraceAk- I almost woke the DH up (due to a good laugh) after reading the squeezing part. But they sure look squeezable!

Thank you for sharing!

I just thought everyone would enjoy this!!
My 1 year old Pit Bull puppys checking out all the peeping.

I had all 6 of my eggs hatch!! I put 3 in on 12-4 and 3 on 12-5.
So that is a 100% hatch rate!

How rare is this?
Is it likely to happen again if I use the same eggs?
