First chicks from broody hen

I have finally had a hen go broody after five years of keeping chickens. I want the hen to raise the chicks. Can I let her and her chicks stay with all the other chickens?

Or would it be best to separate them From all the other chickens?

I'm a believer in separating for at least two to three weeks. That's what the mommas do in nature.

Seperate them. The mother will be aggressive and protective of her babies and it will be very stressful for her if she's constantly chasing off others. That's what I experienced in the past.
