First cocktail hand fed baby learning ahead of time

Anyone else read that letting them sit on your shoulder makes them think they are incarge and will missbehave ??

Great cage! And it's wonderful that you can keep them by your bed, that's what I did for mine. As for pearl... I'm not sure! I guess it depends per breeder. I have a WhiteFaced Pearl, a Pearl split to Pied and a Lutino. Our whiteface pear was by far the cheapest ($150)

I will warn you though that some birds will loose their pearls once they reach maturity. Nonetheless, they are very pretty! (I'll attach a few pictures of mine so you can see the mutations.)

To answer your question about shoulder perching, I would say yes, and no lol.
My birds have always been allowed on my shoulder, and it's quite convenient to just have them hang there as I work or clean, but they will get used to being on the shoulder and soon enough it will be difficult for you to keep them on your finger for more than 5 seconds. Over time I've trained mine to sit still on my finger if it's in a "gun" position. But personally, I prefer them to hang on my shoulder. (Mine's actually trying to type on my phone right now lol.)

Best of luck!

Anyone have opinions on when to start harness training just Getting them used to wearing it ?

They are all gorgeous and I read something about pearl after a molt

Pearl is a sex-linked trait, so girls only. All juvenile birds have female coloration - only females will keep their pearl markings into adulthood.
i was wondering about that cuz some were online someone mention theres lost it after a molt so they must habe had a male

I would love any color I even like the smudged grey faced ones with no markings they are all so beautiful to me ❤ but I do have a fatale attraction to rare and unique and the pearl does look so pretty of a pattern

Was so busy I only remembered to put them on another app heres the pics, cuddle bone with plastic holder (make it easy for the baby) should be here today had to get this food incase the encore doesnt get delivered in time and waiting on mineral block. Lets see I think i have everything except a cage cover

Try to have a variety of natural wood perches, just straight smooth perches aren't good for their feet.
