First Coop - In Progress

Here's my first coop. It started out as a 4 x 8' tractor but I kept
changing it as I went along. The side panels are all interchangeable
with screened panels. It will be painted the same color of my house
so it doesn't stick out so much. I'm a bit embarrased by the total
mess of building supplies and stuff around it but I think most of
you would understand.

What size hardware cloth are you using? That looks to be the best size.

Had to measure it this morning.

It's 1/2". I also used it for the floors. It lets
the poop through well but it won't hold the pine in.
They scratch the heck out of it. I'm trying out hay
which is working ok.

That's a great little coop! What a good idea to have ventilation options for the different seasons. I hope you post more pictures when it's finished.
