This weekend we are supposed to start on our first coop. Never built a coop before, we have a great little brooder. What are some of the most important things to consider or that are vital to a good functioning coop. We have 12 chickens about 4-5 weeks old right now. We have Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks and Cinnamon Queens. We live in Arkansas. Any tips or tricks would be helpful.

I would say one of the most important things is easy access to all areas of the coop for cleaning. Good luck! I had loads of fun building our coop
