Oh my! I would have had a heart attack too

My babies are only 4 days old today and I noticed some of them doing something strange...they were laying down kind of halfway on their side and back with their leg stretched way out, under the light. I guess is their version of sunbathing

WOW you scared me....I just vowed to never put mine out in the coop...

I'm so happy to hear they were sunbathing. I will be prepared now if that ever happens to me!!!!

WOW....definitely scared me there for a minute...mine always look dead when they are in the brooder all stretched out and such. Then I yell at them (not really yell, but scold) for scaring their mother!!

I was all ready to freak! Thank goodness they were just enjoying the sun
