Where did you get your mystery chick? Unless it was from a breeder and not a hatchery it's not a blue orp.

Ohh, i canno wait to take our 5 week old 'caunas out fer thier first scratch and romp. Jist been soooo busy gittin the garden stuff done that i aint had time to make a run for 'em. I caint wait i caint wait i caint wait...did i mention i caint wait ?!?!?!?

Well, I've never had a Delaware and since they came from my own eggs I know it wasn't a mix-up in shipping!!

I know I"m keeping the lighter one....haven't decided on the other one yet......I really don't need that many more roos, but I'd like to see how they mature. Certainly not my normal cuckoos!!

I know they're yours, but they sure have a semi-Delaware look, don't they? Weird, but handsome!

Yes the barring does remind me of a Delaware. When they're ready I'll have to pen them with a couple of hens and see if their look carries through to their chicks. Maybe I've got a new kind of Marans!!

Wow, they sure are oddballs! Remind of of Delawares. Pretty boys though! (Both boys, of course!)
