I'm on day 20. I keep telling myself that, LOL.

The little one thinks these other eggs are soccer balls, I'm afraid

. She gets to moving and falls all over them. It's pretty funny. Maybe she'll wake them up and get them stirring!

No one is out here so far. Though there is a lot of rocking going on with some peeping! One of the eggs is more cracked so that may be our first baby out. Again, pics to come as long as it all goes well.

my eggs are on day 9 and my daughter and I candled them tonight. Amazing !
about 38 out of the 43 have the air sac at the end. the others were too hard to tell, especiallly the green eggs. A couple looked empty, we put them all back. will candle again next week, and mark the ones I am questioning.
Thank you for the answer on how long to leave them in incubator. My first hatch, we took them out one two by two, they hardly had room to move around with the shells and other eggs. but it dropped temp and humidity. Looking back I don't know how we got 25 out of 36 to hatch!!!
I have 8 silver sebright eggs comming on Friday. I can hardly wait to add them, or I may put them in the crock pot. I have to find another thermometer. Hardward store?

One baby is out!!!!!!!

I got up because I havent been feeling too well and there the little guy/girl was. I will try to take pics through the plastic (difficult because of the roundness of the TX), otherwise it will have to wait until the hatch is done. He/she is still wet and kind of darkish, so not sure on color. What a cutie!
