Sorry you lost a hen. I call my chickens "working pets", somewhere between pet and livestock.
Given the circumstances, I'd examine and observe the others carefully. Look for mites or lice, worms and anything else you can think of. Check to see that they are all of good weight, bright eyes, good color on the combs and wattles, smooth legs, normal poops, all that stuff. Cleaning the coop and run can't hurt either, get ready for the long, hot, humid summer!
Hope it was an isolated event. I lost a rooster last year this time, just as the heat and humidity inched skyward. Never did figure out why.
