FIRST DUCK EGG! ok.....two yolkes, both frtalised, but fused?

I have a chicken that likes to lay double yolkers and her egg looks like yours- I can hardly fit her eggs in the carton. Have yet to get a duck egg but will be looking for them in Dec/Jan otherwise if it is too cold they will lay in the spring I am sure.

Anconas lay white, cream, tan, blue, green or spotted eggs. I guess you've figured out it's just a double-yolk chicken egg, but it's still interesting to find out that breed of duck can lay such a variety of colors.

I've never seen a brown duck egg, I'd say you have a double yolked chicken egg.

Duck eggs also have a different 'feel' to the shell, they are much more slick, and some even appear to have a wax coating on them.
