First duck gone

Awwww Lucky's ducks - I just love that!!!! Yeah it's horrible - I feel bad they can't just stay out all day - but I'd feel worse if they were breakfast/lunch/dinner for a raptor!

Agreed. Hey are you going to the Maryland Poultry Swap in Sharpburg this Saturday? I know it may still be a drive for you but it is a fun day with music, vendors and good food. The folks that own the farm are amazing! All kinds of poultry and water fowl usually.

I'd go too if I didn't have to spend the weekend expanding my duck house to accommodate all the ducks that mysteriously keep showing up here. Sounds like so much fun! I wonder how many ducks you'll bring home @quackiemama

I better not be bringing home any ducks on Saturday, I have 3 pekin ducklings arriving next week. My husband is hoping to bring home some quail though to raise for our freezer. I am still on the fence about that though to be quite honest.
