first ear infection in my life

I believe it! Garlic has a lot of sulfur in it...sort of like using a sulfa drug on the site. They used to use garlic or onion poultices for lung and other infections.

I feel for you. Those ear infections really hurt. My ear drums have ruptured several times in my life, and I am a little hard of hearing, and everything bothers my ears. Wind, water, high pitch sounds, etc. etc..... They have only ruptured once since I was 18 though. I had my tonsils taken out and it helped alot.

I have an ear infection right now in both of my ears. I can barely hear a thing. And what I do hear sound sort of metalic.. Like a robot crossed with a human voice. I also have a sinus infection. Feeling dizzy too at times. Sure wish I could go get some antibiotics. Can you buy animal antibiotics from the feed store. And can you use them on a person.

I know what your going through. I feel your pain..

I dont know if anyone metioned it yet..but lay your ear on a warm heating pad... it will help the pain...

Unfortunately, though it feels good, it can bring more fluid and pressure to your ear....so not a good idea in the long run.

O.k. I tried the garlic drops in the ear thing and could not stand the pain from the garlic drops in my ear, it burned horrific!!! There's gotta to be something else that is homeopathic that works!! The deafness in my ear is driving me crazy!!!
