first ear infection in my life

Quote:
Your eustachian tubes are swollen and are not allowing the fluid to drain from your middle ear. You need allergy meds and cold liquids to reduce the swelling in the back of your throat where your Eustachian tubes are located. Try some benadryl, over the counter nasal spray and ice water. Stop eating any dairy, if you are currently doing so. Try some ibuprofen, it is a good anti-inflammatory med and will work better than your Vicoden. Cut back on your salt intake for a day or so.

the vicodin is for the pain

the z-pak is for the infection

the ice cream is for the heck of it

on a side note: the GF is sick now. already in bed at 8:30pm on a saturday night.
