Congrats!My chickens are about 14 weeks old.
Thursday evening when I went to close up the coop, I found my very first egg on the floor! (Bottom in photo) Weight 1.05 ounces, and I blew it into a bowl to preserve the shell for posterity. It did have a yolk.
Nothing on Friday.
Last evening, another one! (Top in photo) Weighed in at 1.15 ounces.
I have Brown Leghorns, Dixie Rainbows and New Hampshires, all from Tractor Supply late in April.
