First Egg Countdown

i have 4 leghorns and 2 EE pullets that are about 14 weeks and i can hardly stand the wait for them to start laying! i want blue/green eggs again

Question... How long after they start getting big red combs, do they start laying? I'm getting close. 4 of my 6 have been busy growing their combs this week. No one is squatting yet but the combs are popping up.

Have heard someone, but I have a 2 year old hen that is laying so I think it's her song. No squatting. The white one has been hanging out in the coop a lot lately. Our 1 year old roo is showing interest though. The Girls just move away from him.

Got four eggs yesterday, 2 first for my girls, one from my EE yay it's light blue! So excited for the rest of my girls to start laying.

yay! That is a beautiful blue egg. Can't wait until my white EE lays so we can see what color eggs she will give us. Id love the color you have!
