They will lay, don't lose hope. Mine started laying from 32-33 weeks. They had been very red in the comb for a long time. Try getting a false egg to entice them

they have them. Sunlight is what we need.lol.

I have 6 15 week old chickens. 2 dark brahmas, 2 black ones (I think one is an australorp and the other is a jersey giant because there is such a size difference) and 2 production reds.

I have an EE named Runny (short for I Like My Eggs Runny)!!

My 5 RIRs look very similar so only two have names. The bossiest who has green in her hackles is Flossie. The lightest one is Goldie. My cuckoo Marans are Coco and Oreo. My PBRs are Jordan *she never walks, only runs and jumps* and Pepa.

I got food poisoning last night and couldn't check the coop. Today I sent my boyfriend out to check on them and he came back with two beautiful light blue eggs. One was cracked and covered in poop because it was layed out of the nesting box. Finding these turned a terrible day a little better. Frozen egg went in the trash but I took pics first.

I have been counting them for this week my Rir are really coming into there own

just found my first egg from my belgian d'anver pretty dang good for a first egg not sure it has a yolk though lol.


that picture is just after washing it i might get some new bedding coffee chaff seems to stick on pretty good despite the color in the photo its a cream color.
