She is beautiful! I have two EEs that are almost 3 weeks old, I have a long wait for them, but I'm still waiting for my girls who are 27 weeks to start laying.

Oh, I hope it doesn't take that long for ours! They are about 22-23 weeks old now.

2 of my girls are squatting ones been checking out the nests for 3 days!!! Surely she must lay any day now... Right??

got another egg yesterday same hen laying in the same spot on the floor in the coop. guess she hasn't figured out what the 10 hole nestbox is for yet. first egg Thursday second egg Saturday laying every other day.

Give her a week and she will most likely get it into the nesting box. They get surprised by the egg coming and sometimes they don't make it back to the box. If she made a nest on the floor, then mess up the nest when you collect the egg.

thanks, I found a egg this morning in one nest box from a different pullet so I think they will all start to get the idea. also had a white leghorn pullet 16 weeks old checking out the boxes this morning she sat in there for 10 minutes then got out no egg but looks like she is getting close.
