my EEs started at 18 weeks! It can happen anytime! Here is one of my 23 week old RIRs. My Reds are showing all the signs of being ready to lay and I'm getting excited. I'm thinking any day now.
Here is a picture of my Ameraucanas (Eastereggers?) who are just turning 19 weeks old. I figure they still have a long way to go before they are ready.
I can't wait to find those first eggs!

e I just finished posting in the forums because I was worried about my girl, she had been in and out of the nest box for DAYS!.... This morning she was in and of course we were all waiting, I was getting scared, thinking maybe there was a blockage or who knows? She started hollering like crazy, my hubs comes running in, I ask "What's wrong"?!!! He's "I don't know" I was just trying to talk to her to calm her down and she started screaming... I opened to nest box door, guess what I found????
