Yep, just put it in a dish on the side and they will take what their bodies need.First egg!! Wooo! It's a rubber egg, and broken, but yaaaaay!! I think it was one of those noisy leghorns!!
Now what??? They are all still on grower since they are mixed breeds and mature at different rates. Also have a roo. I am thinking of offering oyster shell on the side. Will they naturally eat it if they need it?

I don't really have a scale but her eggs fit nicely in the "large" egg carton as opposed to our BR who's smaller and seems to be laying about medium eggs.
Also, my EE is about 30 weeks and still not laying. She's just starting to squat a bit which makes me hopeful that she'll start laying before 40 weeks
