First Egg Countdown

Thanks happy chooks for the advice. I am going to try FF and removing one roost as they sit one roost above the other.

They aren't overcrowded. They have lots of space to roam and I give them treats to pick at I.e. kale, bok choy, fruit. Also they have layer feed and scratch every day. Maybe lacking protein?

Wanted to share. The left dark brown eggs are from my RSL (only one laying right now) the others are from a friend of mine who I still get eggs from until a few more of mine start laying. I'm so impressed with her beautiful dark brown eggs!! Almost as dark as a Maran!
